Congratulations to Kenny Souza, who just crossed the finish line a little bit ago.
Kenny, to say you “ran a hard race” is the understatement of the year. Everyone on this site has come to the conclusion that you’re built out of some sort of space-age, bulletproof material.
Well done!
How these guys continue to draw water from an empty well is amazing. To say “Everyone in this game is a winner” almost always is patronizing, but it rings with a measure of truth for the RAAM, an endurance contest that makes most others look like Candyland.
Amazing feat, Souza.
Go Walsh!
Bryce, last time I saw you you were out for a casual 150 miles spin before lunch. That was more than you have to go now! Congratulations!
And again, great job on Team Walsh. Looking forward to having Thomas back in town at the head of the bunch. Though now none of us will ever be able to say “man am I tired.” I can hear the stories now “You know, when I was crew chief at RAAM a while back Bryce had to pedal through 100 mph winds….”
And he’ll be right.
Congrats to Souza, wherever you are.
Actually, I suppose that’s within a few hundred yards of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, flat on his back on a hotel queensize.
Mmmm, queeensize….
Good job, Kenny, a hard race will ridden.
Hey Bryce, the sooner you get to the Boardwalk, the sooner Kenny can buy you a big bowl of mashed potatoes and beer.
Congratulations to Kenny Souza. You earned it!
And of course, my continued support for Bryce is unwavering!! This last leg is nothing – you’ve biked further before breakfast!! Go Bean!!!!!!!!!
WE’RE NOT WORTHY !
WE’RE NOT WORTHY !
Say Bryce , I was wondering when you finish this race and have slept for a month ! if I could have you autograph a few things like say about a dozen shirts , 36 pictures or so ?
I will keep a bunch for myself . But I need to market them to all your fans on EBAY !!!
Keep on peddlen your almost there !
Great job Bryce! We can only imagine what you have gone through. We will miss your parents and Jodi and Scott at breakfast Sunday, but we know they will enjoy the trip home after spending some time with you. You have made Grand Forks proud.
Bryce!
We have joined the ranks of “brycewalshgroupies”. Can’t tell you how many times a day one of us turns to your’s or RAAM’s site to follow your progress. A mere mortal cannot wrap one’s mind around what you have accomplished! We rode to Thompson once and it nearly killed us. (We called for a ride back home!)
Bryce , Jodi , Tanya and CREW I wish me and Shane were there to help CELEBRATE your GRAND FINALE . I will be toasting you from here.
have fun celebrating it is well deserved . It has been a remarkable ride!
Your one tough amigo Bryce !
