Just a quick update: As of this writing, the RAAM website has not yet reported Bryce’s arrival at the next time station (TS 49), which he should have made over an hour ago (Souza made it almost 2 hours ago). There could be two reasons for this:
He hasn’t hit the next time station yet, OR;He has hit the next time station, but RAAM is being slow updating Bryce’s stats.
I think either is possible, and wouldn’t want to venture a guess on which is more likely. I have a call into Walsh’s crew but have not yet heard back.
Stay tuned….
No sooner did I post this, then Bryce reported at TS 49! Stay tuned for futher info…

Maybe he rested in Grafton? As I understand he can take a credited rest in Grafton, but not Gormania. BTW, I passed Bryce on the way up Cuchara Pass when I was out for a short ride last week. I’ve been anxiously following his progress since. Best blog of any RAAM rider or team I’ve seen.
Way to go Bryce!! Keep pedaling. You’re almost there!!
Cathy:
Yes, we were wondering the same thing about his rest. He’s gotta burn some so if he felt like he didn’t have his legs, etc, he coulda said, “F it, i’m resting here.”
Another thing is, if he would have done this, it’s essentially the same as him taking another hour at TS46, which we probably would have thought not a bad idea.
All will become clear when I hear back from the crew, so stay tuned.
Thanks for the kind comments for Bryce and also about the blog. Glad you’re enjoying it!
You’re on the home straight Bryce.
You’re doing a great job.
The crew is doing a great job.
Keep those cranks rotating.
